Part of the Office of Communications and Public Liaison, the NIH Visitor Center and Nobel Laureate Exhibit Hall staff welcomes visitors of all ages from across the United States and around the world. NIH tour programs are designed for groups and individuals who are interested in scientific and medical research that improves human health and prevents disease. When you visit the Nobel Laureate Exhibit Hall, you are welcome to request an overview of the NIH, learn more about arranging a tour, or, if available, participate in an existing tour. Our permanent Nobel Laureate exhibit honors NIH-supported intramural and extramural scientists who have won the Nobel Prize in chemistry, physiology or medicine.
Daily Visitor Tours: The NIH Visitor Center offers tours that combine an Overview of the NIH with a walking tour of the NIH Clinical Research Center (Building 10-North) weekdays for small groups and individuals (1-10).
Walk-in Visitors: Walk-in visitors can receive an overview of the NIH by visiting the NIH Visitor Center located in the Natcher Building, building 45, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Group Tours: Special tours can be arranged in advance on specifc scientifc, health, training, or other subjects. Please contact us directly for more information on how to schedule a specialized tour.
